In the Web-based enrollment, you fill in all the necessary information from the tenant portal, then you download the Intelligent Hub, do the installation and you are done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the HUB-Based enrollment, you download the generic Installer of the Intelligent Hub, do the installation of the Intelligent HUB and after that, you do a command line enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Web-based Enrollment <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
For the Web-based Enrollment you need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- \n
- Enrollement URL<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Group ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Username \/ Password<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
For the Web-based enrollment you go to the Enrollment URL, for example : https:\/\/<url>\/enroll\/welcome

<\/figure>\n\n\n\nAfter that, you can login with your credentials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\nFrom there, you can choose the installer for the correct architecture :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When done, you can download the installer, but what is important, DO close the webbrowser, but do NOT reboot the system.
The reason for closing the browser is that a cookie is being made when the browser closes which has the information needed for the installer to correctly enroll the device. the Cookie is not released \/ available when the browser is still open.
When rebooting the device after downloading the installer might remove the cookie. So best practice is to close the browser and do not reboot until the installation is done!<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhen the browser is closed, open a terminal and navigate to the downloads folder (or the folder where you saved the installer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And install the intelligent HUB by doing : sudo apt install .\/com.airwatch.linux.agent.amd64.deb<\/strong> (of course the file is depending one the version\/architecture you selected, this example is for this architecture of course)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HUB-based Enrollement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
For the Hub-based enrollment, you need to go to : https:\/\/my.workspaceone.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And then go to Products: Workspace ONE Intelligent HUB<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You need to install it prior to the Enrollment process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So first step : sudo apt install .\/workspaceone-intelligent-hub-amd64-23.04.1.1.deb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For that go to \/opt\/vmware\/ws1-hub and type in the following: sudo .\/bin\/ws1HubUtil enroll –server=<url> –group=<groupname> –user=<username><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this, the enrollment is done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
